Grok bot is amazing

WordPress.com wanted $300 to keep hosting this site for another year. I haven’t written a post here since 2020. That’s insane.

I pointed Grok Bot at it. It confirmed I was still on their Business plan, copied all 149 posts onto a static site, added a tiny JavaScript search that only loads when you actually search, and had a preview up on Cloudflare Pages. I didn’t write a line of code. The whole thing took a few minutes.

It’s on Cloudflare now, which is awesome. Hosting is basically free.

No more WordPress. No more $300 / year. The old URLs still work.

When I write here again, I’ll just tell the bot.
